When i started this the idea was a lot simpler.  Then when I started working with the glass, the idea started growing and growing.  Soon I was left with what you see here.  Though maybe not the completed idea that was in my head it works for me.  I can always improve later.
I saved this piece about 3 times.  By save I mean that it cracked in the flame while working it.  I had to repair it and move on reheat in the kiln and work some more.  There are some cracks in the piece though so it will need to go back in the kiln, reheated, flame worked again, then re-annealed.
I may or may not go though that process, mainly because I want to keep it. If I don’t go though the process, I might not have it any way as the cracks might end up running though the piece over the years.  So I think that it is best to attempt to completely save it even if it means the possibility of it being destroyed.
